Winning Sculpture "Natures Form" Wootha Prize 2011

"Natures Form" 1st place, Wootha Prize 2011

Height: 71cm   Diameter: 32cm

This sculpture was inspired by a "Mud Whelk Shell" found at the beach. I chose Camphor Laurel for it's color and grain. It took me 190 hours of hand carving and was finished with Penetrol Oil.
